Do not merely listen to the word…do what it says (James 1:22-25)

The mission of James’ Mirror is to guide you to the best-of-the-best Christian resources including books, articles and sermons that will enhance your knowledge of God (doctrine) and encourage your obedience to Him (discipleship).  With thousands of books, articles and sermons available, it’s difficult to know where to turn. James’ Mirror is here to point you to the best material available.

James 1:22-25 teaches, we are not to walk away unchanged by forgetting what God reveals about our heart (the mirror in the book of James), but rather to strive to follow Jesus more closely each day in discipleship by loving God and our neighbors.  James expands up this in chapter two by explaining that our faith must be lived out in works. Our works are displayed through using our time, talents and treasures to serve our local church, our community and other organizations.

James’ Mirror holds to a detailed explanation of the Gospel along with the Apostles‘ and Nicene creeds.
